To help your child be successful with their device, they should know how to do the following:

• Turn power on and off

• Log In to the device

• Access wifi and  open a browser

• Bookmark sites

• Mouse users: copy and paste

• Touchpad users:  how to to right click, copy and paste functions

• Access the volume on their device to control sound

• Use headphones with their device (need to bring to Target each class)
   

Important Notes about Devices:

• Make sure the date and time are set correctly

• Enable Pop-Ups

• Remove parental controls

• Chromebook users can only log on to the network if they are logged in as the owner.

Class Dojo: 

Primary form of communication/blog with parents.

Parent join codes sent home with students to gain access to his/her account.

Edmodo:

We use Edmodo to post student assignments, homework, and grades. In order to gain access to your student's assignments and grades, you will need to obtain the Parent Code for your child’s Edmodo student account. I
