Chapter 5: A New Citizen of Krakatoa
Professor Sherman has made it to safety on the island of Krakatoa! Today he meets an unexpected inhabitant of the island, who welcomes him as a guest. The gentleman introduces himself as Mr. F. He provides Professor Sherman with clothing and then takes him on a tour of the island. Read to find out about the mysteries of this island and its inhabitants!
Task 1: Complete your Gore Template
Continue working on your group's gore template. When you are finished, bring to your teacher for approval.
Task 2: Begin Creating Tissue Panels

Begin making your tissue panels for each gore by gluing tissue paper together.

Go slow and make sure your seams are secure! Depending on the size of your balloon, you may need several class periods to complete this.

When you have completed all panels, stack them in order neatly and have a teacher check your work.
